Constitution and By-Laws
The Southern Tablelands Heritage Automotive Restorers Club (STHARC) Constitution and By-Laws establishes the rules, responsibilities and operational framework for managing the club as a not-for-profit organisation. It outlines the club’s commitment to preserving, restoring and promoting heritage vehicles, machinery and equipment while encouraging community involvement through motoring events, social activities and technical knowledge sharing. The Constitution defines membership requirements, committee responsibilities, voting rights, financial management and administrative procedures to ensure the club operates fairly, transparently and in the best interests of its members.
The By-Laws provide further guidance on the club’s day-to-day operations, including membership applications and renewals, committee roles, vehicle eligibility and inspections, and compliance with NSW and ACT historic vehicle registration schemes. They also establish expectations for member participation, the organisation of club events, financial accountability and communication through the club newsletter, The Wheel. Together, these documents provide a structured foundation for maintaining STHARC’s traditions, supporting its members and ensuring the club’s continued success and sustainability.
